Cross View Tearooms overlooks the historic marketplace of Richmond and has been serving customers since 1988. Cross View are passionate about providing a fantastic traditional English tearoom experience. They serve traditional teas, sourced from Richmond’s own Mad Hatter Tea Company, alongside more exotic offerings.

Their own house blend of coffee is provided by Rountons of Northallerton. Milkshakes are made using Reeth based ‘The Udder One’ ice cream.

The Cross View ethos is to serve delicious homemade food, produced using high quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers wherever possible. This includes the fresh baked scones and cakes that fill our cake cabinet each day, as well as the ingredients in our range of traditional meals and daily specials.

Their latest accolade is quality as a finalist in the 2022 Flavours of Herriot Country Awards in the ‘Breakfast of the Year’ category.
