Kacao Chocolaterie was set up by Kelsey Anderson in 2004 to follow her passion for creating delicious chocolate and treats which everyone can enjoy.

 

They relocated to The Station in 2020 mid pandemic when the retail space opened as well as producing all the handmade chocolate from behind the scenes there too. At The Station shop you can find our unique selection of chocolate bars, thins and chocolate treats such as chocolate button jars, shapes and lollipops in all different flavours. And if you haven’t tried our fresh cream truffles then you haven’t experienced real luxury chocolate!

 

Kacao prides themselves in making beautiful products suitable for special gifts and treats for the whole family using sustainably sourced couverture and quality ingredients. Kelsey designs the products and packaging to not only taste amazing, but to be beautiful to look at too.

 

Due to Kelsey’s travelling experience volunteering in South America the team understand the importance of looking after the communities growing the cacao. All Kacao chocolate is covered under the Cocoa Horizons Foundation who’s mission it is to improve the livelihoods of the cocoa farmers and their communities.

 

All the Kacao packaging is either recyclable, reusable or compostable. This is something as a business which they felt was necessary to help their carbon footprint.  The shop is open 6 days a week and any one of the team would be happy to chat all things chocolate.
